Hi, I’m Jamie.

I’m a registered mental health nurse with over 20 years’ experience supporting adults of all ages in both hospital and community settings.

Over the years, I’ve worked closely with people living with dementia, memory difficulties, anxiety, low mood, and social isolation, as well as the families supporting them.

Alongside this experience, I offer a premium, bespoke companionship and respite support service focused on continuity, dignity, and meaningful, person-centred support.

My Approach

My approach is respectful, flexible, and relationship-based, with a strong emphasis on emotional wellbeing, familiarity, and quality of life.

Support is provided on a one-to-one basis and tailored to the individual — whether that involves meaningful outings, returning to familiar interests, gentle activity, or calm companionship at home.

This is a private, non-regulated companionship and respite service. I do not provide personal care or clinical nursing interventions — instead, I offer trusted presence, meaningful engagement, and peace of mind for families.

Meaningful activities

Support is centred around the things that still matter to each individual — not just filling time.

This may include returning to familiar hobbies, getting out into the community, gentle activity, golf or leisure interests, cultural outings, or simply spending time in places that feel known and comfortable.

Activities are always tailored to ability, mobility, concentration, and confidence, with the focus on enjoyment, familiarity, and maintaining a sense of identity.

A different kind of support

I work one-to-one and take responsibility for planning, initiative, and adapting support as needs change — rather than relying on routines or task lists.

This allows people to remain engaged, supported, and connected to everyday life, while families benefit from reassurance, consistency, and meaningful respite.
